Vermillion Pallasite Meteorite Slice - Cut, Polished & Etched - 131g

This meteorite is classified as a pyroxene pallasite and one of only two members of the pyroxene pallasite grouplet.  It was found in Marshall County near and named after Vermillion, Marshall County, Kansas.  It was discovered by two farmers back in 1991 who were planting a field of grain.  It wasn't officially classified as a meteorite until 1995.  This meteorite is not only a pallasite but it's a USA find, and with only about 34.36 kilos of it ever found, it makes it a rare one for sure!  Get it while you can.  This piece has been sliced, polished and etched.

The gram weight of this slice is 131 grams.
