NWA 14659 Meteorite Slice Ordinary Chondrite LL3 - 124.8g

This beautiful slice is NWA 14659.  This meteorite was found in the Sahara desert in Northwest Africa.  It was purchased from a Moroccan dealer back in July, 2021.  Only 12.9 kilos of this meteorite were recovered.  It's classified as an "LL" because it has low amounts of iron and low overall metals, but within this amazing matrix you will find very large clasts.  This piece was professionally cut and polished on one side.   This slice comes in a Riker box to keep it safe during shipping.  Like all of my meteorites, it comes with a COA.

The weight of this piece is 124.8 grams.
