This is a pretty cool little lunar slice! Nagjir 005 was a single stone find that weighed 4800 grams and had minor fusion crust. It was recovered from the Western Sahara in 2025. The white clasts in this lunar when cut thin are transparent!

Measurements - 123x120x3 millimeters
Petrography: (D. Sheikh, Cascadia): Sample is brecciated and composed of mm to cm-sized lithic and mineral clasts entrained within a dark, vesicule-bearing (vesicles generally <50 µm, but can be as large as ~0.5 mm) hypocrystalline matrix made up of mostly crystalline impact melt (composed of larger plagioclase/maskelynite enclosing smaller, <10 µm-sized, equant/skeletal crystallites of olivine and pyroxene), and minor glassy impact melt (displaying visible schlieren texture). Lithic clast lithologies identified include anorthosites, troctolites, noritic anorthosites, olivine norites, and impact melt clasts. Accessory phases identified include troilite, Ca-phosphates, and chromite.
