This is a beautiful, polished slice is Juvinas! It is an achondrite meteorite that fell in Ardèche, France, on June 15, 1821. Juvinas is a monomict breccia belonging to the eucrite group of meteorites.
Eucrites are achondritic stony meteorites, many of which originate from the surface of the asteroid 4 Vesta and are part of the HED meteorite clan. They are the most common achondrite group with over 100 meteorites found. In short, this beautiful meteorite is a piece of an asteroid known as Vesta, that came from our asteroid belt in outer space! This has been professionally cut and polished.
There is very little of this material ever available on the open market. It doesn't come along very often. When it does, it's usually small, crumb-sized pieces.
