NWA 15376 Meteorite Sliced Fragment Ordinary Chondrite LL3-6 - 25.9g

This beautiful slice is NWA 15376.  It was classified by Dr. Sheikh as an ordinary chondrite (OC).  This meteorite was found in Algeria and purchased in 2021.  Only 14 kilos of this meteorite were recovered.  This is 1 of 34 meteorites at this time to be classified as an LL3-6.  There are not many of these.  It's classified as an "L" because it has low amounts of iron but within this amazing matrix, you will find very large clasts.  This piece was professionally cut and polished on one side.  Like all of my meteorites, it comes with a COA.

The weight of this piece is 25.9 grams.
